MegaMan!

I had a lot of fun making this piece. MegaMan was one of the first games I had on the original Gameboy (you know - the grey brick) along with Tetris. So there was a period when I was super obsessed with the man in blue to say the least. I never played the older versions, since I didn't have the game systems, unless I went to a friends.

I decided not to do an underdrawing and go straight from thumbnails to inks. This is something my teacher Shawn Crystal tries to get everyone to become comfortable with. It saves time and forces the artist to treat the inks as a drawing material.

Remember that I take commissions.
